Black Silhouette Entranced

Pastoral black silhouette entranced by pastel shades of blue,
faded pink and amber.
The tall lone evergreen stands etched in its surrounding
sunset embers.
And under the tree and around~horses graze in
twilight peace.
The foliage on the other side ~a frame for such s pretty
picture in its calming release.
Perhaps down the slope lies a golden washed pond.
And around it grow bull rushes and other aquatic frond.
I wish I were an artist that I might paint this scene~
in magic twilight~
as the sun fades and the dark rushes in~
to bid the world,”Good Night!”
